How Your Mindset Will Attract You to Career Opportunities – EP 09
Is your mindset attracting you to career opportunities? Today’s guest, Beth Pouska, shares how fostering a learner mindset has opened doors for her career. She shares excellent tips on getting connected, identifying your skills, and leveraging your network.
Beth has been a military spouse for almost 15 years and served on active duty with the Air Force before getting married. Throughout (soon-to-be) 6 moves she has maintained a passion for working and contributing her skills to various volunteer and paid projects. She has worked remotely for 15 years (including one contract position with the same organization for the last 11 years). Beth sees every PCS as a reminder and opportunity to evaluate her personal and professional priorities and interests. Every new assignment brings a chance to find new ways to connect with her family, volunteer, work, and build friendships. She is currently a Content Manager for SmartSocial.com teaching families how to be safer with digital and social media technologies and is a podcast assistant for MomsUnschooled, a podcast helping moms question everything and share anything.
