I want to talk today about something that comes up again and again with freelancers that I coach privately in strategy sessions or in three-month ongoing coaching, and that is “set it and forget it” marketing… or just plain old “forget it.”

What happens with a lot of freelancers is they do a lot of freelance marketing to ramp up their new business and then they promptly forget about it once they are fully booked or close to fully booked. But if you don’t know how to keep the momentum going with your freelance marketing, you’re not set up for success over the long run.
